Default 2001 Z06 cam questions?

I am about to purchase a "supposed" 2001 Z06 camshaft. What are the benefits to a stock 99 LS1 and how will I know if it is a true Z06 cam(part number) Thanks to all PS what kind of price would be good for this used cam?

For the amount of work involved in installing a cam, you might be happier installing a little more agressive cam in your LS1. Recommend 224/114or112

I really dont want a cam that makes the engine idle worse than it does now, or pushes the powerband up higher, but makes the useable powerband narrow. I havent driven in a car with a "hotcam", so I dont know the idle quality. Most people say "it has a good idle" which usually means that its not as good as it could be. Sorry for being picky about the cam selection, but I have not been happy with all of the aggressive race cams i have chosen in the past. It seems that it is a large tradeoff for driveability and smootheness for a small power gain. What do you think? What are the specs on the Z06 cam?
