Junkyard turbo I bought a innovations 60-1 turbo and i was thinkin of doin a junkyard builtup.. I was gonna do a remote rear mount..I need a pcv, wastegate,all the pipes, boost and air/fuel gauges/oil pump/T4 flanges... What else would i need? Has anyone else done a junkyard build up on a LT1 rear mount.. Thanks alot

IMO, rear mount was a good idea for reducing engine bay heat, but you have fun driving that in the winter or even a little bit of rain........ Extremely hot turbo housing plus cold snow or water in general, you're going to crack/warp the housing. If I were you, i would do the junkyard build up, just not a rear mount. But good luck with it either way.
Edit: That sounds like its most if not all that you're going to need.

rear mount do the rear mount if you want, mines rear mounted, no cracking/ warping issues.

yeah ima member there.. Do you know how to do a turbo on a LT1 and not a LS1? Any websites? Also do you know how much piping im gonna need.. Thanks alot

... just go to the sts turbo website, check their installation pictures, look at the routing of the lt1 pipes and mock the routing. you'd need at least 12 feet of piping and a couple of mandrel bends., better to have more than enough that to have too little. I ordered pipe from summit, never used it, just wen to a muffler shop and had em bend my pipes for me. cheap.
