TR6060
I have a built T-56 and have driven TR6060's. They are just more smooth and can handle more power. The ONLY possible co to the TR6060 over the T-56 is the syncro assembly teeth are more fine. Makes for a more smooth shift but less resistant to rounding. (if you miss a gear it may not be very forgiving)
If I didn't already have a built T-56 I would 100% get a TR6060,

I have a T56 Magnum (TR6060) in my LS7 RX-7 and it is hands down waaaaaay smoother shifting than any pre '08 T56. I sold a built Stg2 Fbody T56 to install the Magnum. Best decision to date... makes the car feels a lot more modern.
The TR6060/T56 Magnum is a clean sheet redesign with many improvements. The case weighs a few more lbs than the older version with more rigidity/add'l webbing, larger bearings to handle more load, the gear faces themselves are wider to handle more power and made of a better material, input/output shafts made of a better material (output shaft 31 spline), built in provision for gear sprayer/cooler, and for roll racing 5th gear is .80 vs. .75 so you stay in your powerband better.
A lighter clutch/flywheel combo will also allow you shift faster at higher RPMs.
