5.3 carbd street/strip engine build We'll I sold my ls1 76mm 71 nova back in 2005 and have missed it since so I built a 69 nova and am down to the engine. I purchased a 5.3 and 4.8 from a buddies shop for $150 4.8 spun bearing 5.3 low miles with low oil pressure(oil pump) no spun bearings or anything theyre both 24t engines.
I planned on doing the 5.3 with 4.8 flat tops 862 heads ports cleaned with stock cc and a ms3 cam so I can get a nice thump and it'll love being sprayed at the track. This is a street car full interior no cage so I want to keep the engine more mild but im really set on the ms3. Any advice and weither i'll run into ptv clearence issues or anything please lmk guys. I followed 78supersports build on his 5.3 ms3 stang and after seeing that am steering away from a efi turbo setup just to keep it simple in a old car.

any texas speed guys wanna give me some pointers thatd be great. Especially seeing as how ima be getting parts from you guys since your south of me here in southern oklahoma.
