Well with an exhaust and k&n cai. Would my gto be over 300hp to the wheels? Still have manifolds.

Intake, full exhaust, tune should make 330whp give or take a few... I dont know how much good the CAI do for these, but seems you gain a lot from headers.

edit: the 06 should have an LS2 so you should be well above 300whp stock.

A '06 with the LS2 should be about 330 RWHP stock. IMHO you aren't going to gain a thing on a stock car with an exhaust other than 15#s of weight. I have an opinion on the K&N. You aren't going to be much above that maybe 340. If you have decent driving skills you can get a 12.9 @ 108 at the strip in "normal" DA

Search isnt my friend i guess, when it comes to ?'s about my new gto lol. But this car will see a track MAYBE one time. It will never have anything on it other than a reg street tire. My ? is do I still need to upgrage the suspention? As in, is it a must do no matter what? If so can someone post up a link to what is a popular sponsor for the suspention stuff. Thxs again guys

Start with upgrading the front top strut bushes, front radius rod bushes, front tie rod bushes, front and rear sway bar bushes, rear cradle bushes, rear differential insert bushing (or Harrop diff cover if $ is not an option), and get a rear cradle alignment. It's also advisable to get springs that are about 40% stiffer (most importantly in the rear) and stiffer front struts and rear shocks.

Get these things done and it's a completely different car with respect to handling.

With an A4 rear wheel hop is not a major concern. Get the above things done and you'll push the envelope much further out on dealing with this issue.

Next mod should be better brakes IMO... get a decent set of rotors, braided SS lines, and some Porterfield R4S pad all around.

Now your ready for some power mods...
