'98 Pontiac Trans Am Power Steering Cooler REPLACE!
Parts you will need.
1. Power Steering Oil Cooler, about $20 at LPS or online... Part Number; 911009

2. Replacement hose to put where the cooler was, about $25 at LPS or online... Part Number; 26347X

3. Extra Dexcool Radiator fluid!
4. Extra Power Steering Fluid
Now once you have these 4 things make sure you drain at least 1 gallon of radiator fluid from the drain on the bottom of the radiator "passenger side" then replug.
Remove the 2 hoses from the power steering cooler that run to the Power Steering resivour. Keep the tipps up to prevent power steering fluid from leaking out.
Now undo the entire main Radiator line that holds the power steering cooler in it and set it aside.
Take your new Radiator hose you just bought (see above) and install it exactly where the old one was.
Take your new Power steering fluid cooler and mount it wherever you see fit as long as air passes through it and the hoses reach! Mount it according to the directions. Now attach the 2 power steering lines to it.
Refill all fluids..
Done... Simple and easy fix for the leaking into one another problem so many of us have.
Some say you dont even really need a cooler. I liked this better.
