need help finding a tool to hold the crank in place..

Default need help finding a tool to hold the crank in place..
The Ls shop I use to work at had a tool that bolted up in place of the started on a ls motor which worked great for torqueing down pulleys but I cant find it does anyone have a clue who sold it? thanks

Kent-moore flywheel lock tool. Dont know the part # though.

Simple

Take an old flexplate and cut a small section off it, then weld it to a piece of scrap steel and drill two holes in it

Just make two small brackets to bolt this on where the starter goes.
