Default want/need to disable factory alarm.

i am using an entire harness from a 2000 in my 95 camaro. i have the vats deleted and the bcm bypassed for the fuel enable. the car starts and runs fine. well today i tied up some loose ends on the car and when i locked and shut the door the alarm armed itself and started going off. is there a way to delete/disable the factory alarm?

Put the key in the ignition cylinder and turn at least one click.

Crispy's link will tell you how to keep the alarm from arming.

You don't need a remote to disable the alarm. If the method posted doesn't work then you're pretty much out of luck because the alarm is in the BCM and it can only be disabled by programming (there is no switch or separate wire).
