I have a chetah manual valve body I am installing in my th400. The directions say to pull the seals off of the inner piston and re use the spring. My spring is broken. and i cant get a hold of one today and want to finish my trans. so a few questions.
1. if I pull the seals off of the inner piston on the rear servo then that should mean the band is not going to apply anyway. and if that is the case then the only purpose of the spring is to keep the pin up off of the band. Am I correct or will that piston still work some how.
