I was hoping I wasn't going to have to make something similar to this myself.

Yeah, def not quick n easy. It involves taping up the bumper, putting on the 6LE splitter, putting modeling clay in between the splinter and the bumper, carving and shaping clay to liking, letting it dry, take off the splitter/clay molding, wrap everything in foil, vacuum bag assembly in CF. Sucks...

I would actually make a fiberglass mold fom the splitter/clay , then vacum bag . Then the sizing will come out correctly.

I'd hate to bring up an old tread but I can't stop looking at how good the front spoiler is. I was sitting around yesterday thinking since it's poring rain here and got an idea. I always hated how the side skirts had the arch in the middle and because of that people didn't like the side skirts on the TA. I don't know if you want to Photoshop the picture again but what if you kept the side splitters but got rid of the arch in the center of the side skirt so it's even all the way across?

Yeah id love that. Now find me a jack that can get under it. With below nods, I have to have someone lift the car up at the wheel well by hand to get my jack under it. BARELY fits.

The lift points are not in the center anyways.

Doesn't matter. That arch is how I get the jack under my car.

okay some find it usefull and some dont. I dont have a problem getting a jack under my car so I dont need the arch. I just like the side splitter idea and thought it would look a lot better without the arch in the middle of the side skirt thats all.

Dead thread I know, but the splitter is a thing of beauty. Anything ever actually happen with the design?

I'd like to see a prototype. I'd be game for this. Despite my car being lowered, the front still looks high due to the bumper construction. This would lower it a tad.
