I am building a 68 now with c4 front and rear IRS. ls6 with 5 speed. I am going to leave it primer for a couple of years so I won't care about parking idiots. Great mileage, fast, cheap license, and no emissions for classics in idaho...what a deal.

I wish I could drive a 1st gen as a daily driver. that would be the coolest thing, I wanted to but my dad wouldn't let my first car be a project car.

Like others have said before, be very careful where you park, and keep the doors locked.
Other than that have fun and enjoy your time driving some classic muscle

Do it if you can afford the gas costs. I stopped daily driving my '69 Charger because of fuel costs and because it just wasn't comfortable enough. Most importantly, I just don't trust myself or other drivers enough to stay out of accidents...

I agree with everyone and thats what I'm going to do and drive it daily, I mean I used to drive it daily in high school and then did a bunch of work and bought another car, gas doesn't bother me and i live 10 mins from my work. But need to finish school and thanks to everyone who replied to my posting. I totally agree with the turning heads everywhere and having people always asking me questions....the girls love it and haven't met one who hasn't loved my car....ha ha ha

For sure DD that sucker! That is a mean *** car, and like everyone else said, life is too short to own a classic and keep it in a bubble. Also, if that is what your dad wanted the car to be, then do that for your old man, he'll appreciate it and be proud that you are using what ya'll spent so much time on together.
