Default 6.0 ls cylinder numbers ?

I KNOW The LS firing order is 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3, but what cylinder is # 1 # 2 #3 ...etc etc .. in the block .. searched but cant find it .. i know older sbc 18436572 driverside of block is 1 3 5 7 passside 2 4 6 8..what is it on a ls motor ..thanks

Correct, even on the driver's side starting at #1 and going back. Starts at #2 on the passenger bank and heads back.

Correct...Also a good rule of thumb is... the cylinder head that is closest to the front of engine is always cylinder one.

TOTALLY WRONG . The pontiac motor has #1 on the drivers side and the pass side head is in front of IT

bring this back from the dead...sorry to even ask...but, what about FWD LS4...would think is the same but, the front of the motor would be considered where the ACC belt is right? so...my intake faces the back if you look at it that way LOL...but its FWD LOL...
