Default Part number for PCV valve boot??

I need to buy a boot for my PCV valve. I was able to get the valve with no problem, but my parts guy can't find a part number for the boot with the grounding strap that holds the PCV valve.

I included a picture to show exactly what I am talking about.

Anybody have a part number for this? Anybody have one they want to sell me?

Thanks, -Dave

The list I have shows that piece as part of sub-assembly #12562580. I didn't see that number listed much on google and not found at sdparts.com (SDPC). I think your best bet is to try to find one used in the for sale section.

Here's a thread with a few pics as well:

GM parts doesn't sell it individually; they make you buy the whole line kit.

Yep, been there, done that.
The dealers want ~ $100.00 for that line kit.

You can get it for about $60.00 from internet GM parts sellers.

If you have a vacuum leak, elctrical tape will buy you some time.

Agh, I don't want to buy the whole line for $85 and I don't really want to make it out of a brass hose fitting - but thanks for the posts!!

Did the 5.3's or the 6.0's in the trucks have the same PCV valve boot? I can start checking the salvage yards.

For the cost of replacing the entire line, one can do the '04 LS6 PCV conversion. Interested in going cheaper? Just get some rubber heater hose.
