Are bmw and chevy rims 5x4.75 bolt pattern?

0.7mm = 0.028"
That is the equivalent to 5 sheets of standard 8-1/2 x 11 printer paper (one sheet is 0.004" thick). It is minescule!

GM and BMW are not the same company, nor are they in the same country and do not use the same units of measure. GM uses Standard American units like inches and feet, where as BMW being in Germany uses Metric units (such as millimeters and meters) like most everyone else. It is mere coincidence that there lug patterns are similar. This is why they possibly didn't collaborate when they were initially designing their wheels, to ensure we could use BMW wheels on GMs and vice versa.

I dont see a reason for name calling. And in the end everyone is going to do whatever they want regardless of what anybody else says.

You can get them at 1010tires, the ones I have came with the wheels. They fit too tight in the wheel and when I tried to take the wheels off it was a PITA, so I need to get smaller OD rings. Trying to get the tire off on the side of the road after a flat would not be fun with those rings installed!

but .7mm is the same thickness(width) as a .7mm lead for a .7mm mechanical pencil. 
As you said though... It is minuscule!

However there is probably enough "play" in the bolt holes that the .7mm difference doesn't really matter.

Wheels dont fit????? Help So i got some 5 by 120 aftermarket wheels for my bmw it even says bolt pattern on the back of the wheel and i was told that my bolt pattern is the same so i looked it up and sure enough it was. I can fully install 3 lug studs then the other two are on the outside of the hole in the wheel tried loosening other 3 almost all the way out and still cannot get other two started. ive been working on cars for 15 years and never had this problem. So is the wheel made wrong?? Or am i doin something wrong that i dont know... Lol!!!

BMW GT1 19 inch rims on 2002 Chevy Blazer 
I’m running 19 inch BMW BP GT1 rims on my 2002 Chevy Blazer and the only thing I’ve noticed about the light difference in the BP is you just have to hand tighten each lug slightly or it’ll make them be off centered but other than that I never had a problem with them coming loose or anything. All I would say is if your do run some it’s just like any other maintenance on your truck/car just check it every so often.
