i dont know if this v-12 is real or not but g.m made a ls v-10 to replace the ageing 454 in the trucks and to give some competition to the dodge and ford v-10. But it got scraped and they built the boat anchor 8.1 496 C.I. There is a very interesting article in gm hightech performance december 2005 issue page 47-53 check

not to mention the fact that anyone who had the skills to weld half another engine onto a ls1 would never, never use a plastic manifold. that would have a sexy sheet metal intake on there. no question. plus you cant make plastic look that smooth if you could stick it together.
plus crescent wrench? come on.. lol

You mean this? It has some similarities to an LS, but it doesn't look like what's in the first post.

I spoke with the guy who originally posted the two pictures of the engines on the workbench. He said they were indeed real and provided some info and offered to send a few more pictures when I asked.
The V12 is two blocks/heads cut and then welded together, then sleeved.
The V4 seems to be one block, cut, welded, & sleeved.
The builders name is "Ray" and he is located in Washington state, and works out of a "small" shop.
Apparently he is working on about 4 LS style motors, two of which may be complete(??)
Will keep you guys updated if he sends me any more info/pics...

We didn't mate two engines together. We cast a new V16 block and heads doubling existing LS architecture. One engine is in the Cadillac XV16 concept car and the other is in a stretched Yukon. Over 1000hp/1000 ft-lbs NA and you can set of glass of water on the top of the intake.

Man all the photoshop gurus in here obviously didnt really know anything about the software. Turns out the motors are real. Hey what do ya know, some people really can weld.

There's always naysayers....."it's gotta be Photoshoped!!" along with all their proof.
The LS12 was made by a shop looking for a new aircraft engine. It was linked in a LSXTV broadcast email.
There's a video of it on the company's website, perhaps that was Photoshoped too?

It'll fit very nicely into a first gen Monte Carlo.
