finally got home with it, and looking at the stock U-brackets you gave me compared to the ones on the car, i think you did give me the aftermarket brackets.
and in W. Chicago, i blew a trans line on the way home.

That sucks. Should have called me. I would have come with tools and patched it up.

where we stopped was a block from advance auto parts, picked up some tubing, clamps, and ATF. called my dad and he showed up with a jack on some tools. got it home now. damn potholes ripped the rubber line open.
